About KRIGET - 1942
KRIGET is a retro run-and-gun in the browser. It is 1942, the front has gone quiet, and you are pushing through enemy lines alone across ten levels. Halfway through, the war stops being the thing you should be worried about.
Fight through trenches, dugouts and bunkers against riflemen, grenadiers, machine gunners and armoured bosses. Pick up weapons as you go — machine gun, shotgun, and stranger things later on. Standing on a crate platform makes you fire straight down, which is the answer when something starts piling up beneath you.
How to play
- ◄ ► — move, ▲ or SPACE — jump
- B — fire, hold for automatic weapons
- G — throw a grenade over cover
- Drop into dugouts for cover, but do not linger — they lob grenades in
Scoring
The leaderboard ranks by how far you got first: reaching level 6 beats level 5 no matter how many points either run scored. Points only separate players who reached the same level, and they come from kills multiplied by your level, divided by your average time per level — so killing everything and doing it fast both pay. Ten levels, two bosses, and a story that runs through PYRAMIDEN and TROLLKARLEN as well.
