Back around 2010 I ran a small arcade shop in Sweden. We built our own cabinets from scratch and made our own games for them.

Eventually we closed the shop. We've sold a couple of custom machines since, but mostly the whole thing has just been a good memory.

Arkadligan is my way of getting that feeling back — online instead of in a shop. The plan is simple: one game per month (until I run out of them), and every month is a tournament with its own leaderboard.

If enough people play, I'd love to put up a real prize — maybe even a custom-built arcade cabinet, like the ones from the shop. We'll see how it goes. For now: insert coin.
